Hmmm...I think I just lost my NEW EHD. As of yesterday evening I can't read it. ARG!! At least the only things I lost are the kit I worked on yesterday (I have 1/2 of that one saved, so I did not lose all of it) and the LOs I was recreated when I lost the last EHD in Nov (did 5 of the 13 this weekend). <Sigh>

I guess today will be spent getting things back on my old EHD (that we finally got back last month) that now has nothing on it so that I will have a working place again (and will have a second backup again).....and of course, backing up everything important on my HD.

oh goodness, I live in terror. I have GOT to round up enough cash to get another EHD!
I'm so glad you didn't lose much.

I tried my EHD one last time and was able to read it...so am backing up everything just in case again (so that I do not have to extract and reorganize it all again!)....like 120GB! I am a very happy camper right now.

YAY!!! When my PC hard drive died last year, I loved that moment when it suddenly worked and allowed me to copy off most of the contents (even though it took many, many hours to copy because there was so much there and it was running so incredibly slowly but there were only a few areas that were corrupt).

I hope you are able to make a full backup of everything. Unfortunately, even if it continues to work you won't know for sure of how reliable it will be and will kind of live in fear of it dying at amy moment. Very frustrating.

I just found back the new EHD DH bought for me a year or so ago so I need to back up all my scrapping stuff before this old one dies.

EHDs seem to be giving everyone trouble lately. Good Luck with yours.

Im sure glad you were able to get your stuff back Wendy - I lost mine last year and it was devestating! Then to loose my computer that the EHD had backed up shortly after that - Kinda threw me for a loop and lost alot of my MOJO!!!!! Hopefully I will get it back now~!
